SHOHAGPUR TEXTILE MILLS LTD.

This unit is situated on the south-eastern corner of Dhaka, Narayanganj, on the bank of the Shitalakshya River which provides natural humidity favorable for spinning. Shohagpur Textile Mills Ltd. is the pioneer in producing Melange Yarn in Bangladesh.

Equipment and Capacity:

The unit has a total of 42,000 spindles and a daily production of 22 tons. It is equipped with machinery from Trützschler from Germany, Rieter from Switzerland, Toyota from Japan and Schlafhorst / Murata winders.

Annual turnover: US$20 million.

This unit specializes in (cotton/viscose) mélange yarn production.
