For the Safety and Social Commitment to the
workers, a three member team is employed to
ensure that the working conditions at Purbani
are according to human rights norms, local laws,
ILO conventions and our personal social
engagements. Each employee gets paid based on
performance. Nobody under the age of 16 is
employed and our in house doctor examines the
workers regularly. Each floor has two exits and
all exits are kept open during the working
hours. Adequate fire fighting equipment are
placed through all the doors and an adequately
trained fire fighting team is vigilant on a
permanent basis to face the emergency. On every
floor first aid supplies and sufficient toilets
are available. Enough drinking water facility is
available for all workers on each floor and the
water is being tested on a regular basis. There
are also Canteens, Prayer Room and Day-Care
Centre for female workers. All workers have the
right to form their own welfare organizations
and access to the top management.
